学校への携帯電話持ち込みへの対処ーNZのとある学校の例
小中学校への携帯電話持ち込み指針見直しが検討されることになり、大阪府ではこの四月より公立小・中学校での持ち込みを解禁しました。
NZの学校で、携帯電話はどのような扱いになっているのでしょう。
福岡市に姉妹校を持つ公立中学校の校長先生の、”新学期にあたっての保護者への案内”の中に 携帯電話についての取り扱いについての説明がありましたのでご紹介します。
We provide a social media and cell phone free learning environment. While we recognise that some students require a phone to communicate with parents before and after school, we don't encourage parents to provide their child with a mobile phone.
If your child does need to bring a phone to school it must be handed into the teacher on arrival at school. We keep it locked and secure throughout the day and will return it to your child at the end of the day. Where a student is found to be using a mobile phone during the day, the phone will be removed to the office for safekeeping and parents will be requested to come and collect it.
If a student is feeling unwell or has friendship issues while at school they can talk to their classroom teacher or the school office and we will make contact with parents as appropriate.
